1.2083 mould steel with good corrosion resistance properties to against water, steam. As the one of the stainless steel, 1.2083 plastic mould plates suitable to make mould for chemically aggressive plastics, because of excellent mirror polishing properties, it is also suitable for automotive, medical and ptical products.
1.2083 stainless steel generally have two supplied situation:
annealed condition with a hardness < 230HB or quenched and tempered to 30 – 36HRC hardness
